About Abraham LaMark and Insulate Iowa

Abraham started Insulate Iowa in 2008 because he didn't like how the insulation company he worked for treated its clients. Eighteen years later, he's still on site for every job.

Why Abraham started his own insulation company in 2008

Before Insulate Iowa, Abraham LaMark worked for another insulation company. He didn't like the way it treated its clients, and in 2008 he went out on his own to do it differently.

Starting in 2008 meant starting in a recession. Abraham figured that if the company could make it then, it could make it through anything. Eighteen years and over 2,000 homes later, it's still here, still locally owned and operated, and not a franchise.

His customers include homeowners, landlords, investors, realtors, home inspectors, businesses, farms, remodelers and repeat clients. He prefers cellulose.

The same crew for 16 years, and no subcontractors

Abraham is on site for every job. His crew has been with him for 16 years, and he doesn't subcontract any of the work. That's why customers pick him over the big-name corporations: he's local, he doesn't hand the job to someone else, and he's there while it's done.
